We don’t make it easy for someone to commit their lives to Christ at Chroma Church. It’s more than a ‘talk to us afterwards’, it’s more than a hand in the air. We ask anyone who want to respond to the gospel to come forward to the front of the meeting.
It’s a challenge for the person involved. They really need to know it’s the right step.
When the revival broke out at the start of 2022, we saw
people regularly taking those steps. Over the year, there were about 120 who
gave their lives to Christ. Last year, this increased further with 365 people
responding in the meetings and coming to the front, one for every day of the
year.
This year has seen things accelerate again. Last Sunday, 31
people came forward in the meetings. Thirty-one!
Prayer has underpinned this revival, and it is no coincidence
that at the Revival Prayer time on the Tuesday before, we had all held up the
salvation packs that are given out to new believers and prayed that they would
be used that week. Every one of those packs was given out on the Sunday!
