I have a soft spot for KingsGate Church Leicester. Roh and I were part of that church for a while, and before that part of the parent church in Peterborough. In fact, we spent around 18 years with KingsGate.
So it was exciting to hear what God has been doing with them.
Having struggled with around fifty people attending on an average Sunday for
some while, the church has suddenly doubled in numbers. With over one hundred attending
on Sundays, KingsGate Church Leicester is enjoying something of the revival
atmosphere God has brought to Leicester.
It’s not been an easy journey for them, but things are
changing. This is what my friend Jennifer from KingsGate says:
God is amazing….. For those who keep going with perseverance
no matter what circumstances we are in and no matter where we are in the storm,
when we are right with God, God does unimaginable things that seem impossible. But
God made it possible. We are growing rapidly like never before.
