You're never going to get unity through a committee. I'm not sure you get unity through leader’s meetings either as the most prominent leader tends to take over. But there is a genuine unity when churches work together.
My observations from working with
Mission24 this week in the centre of Leicester backs this up. We had around 12
churches meeting together at Chroma Church for the beginning of this mission
and on the streets, I've met members from maybe seven or eight different
churches on any one day. This is glorious! This is unity!

Conrathe and Mission24 for working with the Leicester churches - fourty-eight different team members with us through the week. This itself is
a God-given blessing. Jon is here because God spoke specifically to him about
our city. The number of people on the streets praying salvation prayers is wonderfully
high. This is a city of revival and I'm so thankful for all that God is doing.
