This week we had the privilege of having Pastors Ricardo and Patricia with us from Avivamiento Church, Columbia. Their church has been in revival for thirty-two years now, and they count their congregation in tens of thousands. So, to have them visit Leicester is amazing.
It was revival on revival.
At Chroma, we have been enjoying a degree of revival for about three years,
following a Leaders Conference. We have seen much, but this week we saw more.
Here are a few of the
comments after the meetings:
- ‘I felt breath in my
lungs, I’ve never felt the Lord like that! It’s like I can breathe again.’
- ‘I have a hunger to pick
up my bible at every second.’
- ‘All I want to do is
pray, even at work on Wednesday I had to keep stopping to just look to God, all
I want is Him.’
- ‘I feel so light, it’s like nothing matters, only knowing God matters.’
There was a rise in faith
and an increased awareness of the Holy Spirit. There were many answered prayers
and a significant amount of healing. But most of all it was worship. Deep, deep
worship. God’s presence so tangible, you could feel His touch.
We are all so, so grateful
to God. What a time to be alive.
