I had the absolute privilege of speaking at the Men's Connect session last Monday. The room was full. Many in the room were new Christians. Some were from Hindu, Sikh and Muslim backgrounds. All were hungry for God.
I spoke on
Great Leaders and Great Revivals, and I hope it was a blessing.
It was
certainly a blessing for me, to see so many men, most of them young, running
after God. It was so encouraging to see the passion for Jesus, to witness the full-on
worship as well as the willingness to open up, to repent of sin and to disciple
each other.
There’s a
fire in the camp. We finished the evening in prayer and ministry as I
challenged the guys to rise to the challenge of John Wesley’s words: ‘Get on
fire and people will come and watch you burn.’

who leads the event, is doing a great job. His choice of picture, from my social
media (below) made me laugh. The eagle in the picture is an Egyptian Steppe
Eagle. And his name is Ralph. Yes, seriously!
We continue
to witness an ongoing revival in Leicester. Young men in particular are finding
a faith in Jesus Christ. Hardly a week goes by without more men and women
coming to the front of our meetings to give their lives to God.
